Johnson County 4-H Shooting Sports is the 4-H shooting sports club for Johnson County, Kansas. The club helps introduce youth between the age of 7 and 18 to the shooting sports by enrolling approximately 30 beginning rifle shooters and 30 beginning archers in an introductory 6-week course once per year. It also offers advanced instruction and competitive opportunities year-round in BB gun, air rifle, smallbore rifle, muzzle-loading rifle, air pistol, archery, shotgun and hunting skills. The program fielded the top shot award winners at the 2015 Kansas State 4-H Championship in both air rifle and BB gun. The Johnson County 4-H Shooting Sports BB Gun Team placed fourth at the 2014 Daisy National BB Gun Championship Four-Position Match in Rogers, Ark.
