Georgia Competitive Shooters defeats Robinson High School
Shooting their highest score of the postseason Georgia Competitive Shooters defeated Robinson High School 2346 to 2192 last week in the National Air Rifle League and will advance to the league championship game. They will take on Granbury MCJROTC
In their semifinal game Georgia Competitive Shooters was led by, Molly Mcghin who shot a 593. The remaining contributing members were Addy Burrow, Anusha Pakkam, Savanna Stalnaker, and Gabby Morrow. Georgia Competitive Shooters is from Griffin, GA, and is coached by Lisa Kelley.
Robinson High School finishes the season with an overall 6 - 3 record, this includes a regular second place finish in the Junior Rifle Club conference. In their semifinal game Robinson High School was led by, Scott Patterson who shot a 566. The remaining contributing members were Andrew Morris, Sally Reeke, Jack Kersey, and Grace Cason. Robinson High School is from Fairfax, VA, and is coached by Jeffrey Nolan.
The championship game this week versus Granbury MCJROTC and Georgia Competitive Shooters, marks the second time these two teams have meet in the postseason. Georgia Competitive Shooters won both previous postseason games. These two teams also meet in the regular season opener this year. In this game Granbury MCJROTC won.
