Denver North AJROTC Narrowly Defeats Selma MCJROTC
Denver North AJROTC edged out Selma MCJROTC 2117 to 2106 last week in the National Air Rifle League Invitational Tournament. Denver North AJROTC will advance to the semi-finals to take on North Brunswick AJRTOC.
Denver North improves their overall record to 4 - 4. In their first round game Denver North AJROTC was led by, Katrena Silletto who shot a 539. The remaining contributing members were Rose Kelly, Binh Nguyen, Seng Ing, and Suriana Mendez. Denver North AJROTC is from Denver, CO, and is coached by Aaron Sheppard.
Selma MCJROTC finished the season with a 2 - 6 record which includes third place in the Marine Corps JROTC Conference. In their first round game Selma MCJROTC was led by, Nicholas Mullins who shot a 545. The remaining contributing members were Samantha Louie, Estefanie Lopez, and Leslie Espinoza. Selma MCJROTC is from Lemoore, CA, and is coached by Mike Romero.
