Los Alamos NJROTC defeats Lake Region Shooting Sports
Third seeded Los Alamos NJROTC defeated Lake Region Shooting Sports 1159 to 1130 in the National Air Rifle League - Precision Tournament. Los Alamos NJROTC was led by JoAnna O'Neill who shot a 295. The remaining contributing members were Samantha Miller, Holly Hayes, Stephanie Nielsen, and Jacob Torrez. Los Alamos NJROTC is from Los Alamos, NM, and is coached by Wes Shumaker.
Lake Region Shooting Sports was led by Maria Rosa-Nieves who shot a 287. The remaining contributing members were Jacob Vaagen, Brandon Alexander, Christopher Morstad, and Rachel Alexander. Lake Region Shooting Sports is from Devils Lake, ND, and is coached by Rick Jorgensen.
Los Alamos NJROTC will advance to the semi-finals next week, they will take on the winner of the Granbury MCJROTC and Maspenock Junior Rifle Team game.
