Orion's Technology

The Orion Scoring System is specifically designed to use commodity scanners and computers to achieve unparalleled scoring accuracy, speed, and fairness. A single copy of Orion can be used on a range for a 5 to 10% of the cost of traditional electronic scoring targets and still achieve the same accuracy and fairness.

Orion works by loading and scoring 10m air rifle target images digitized by a commodity scanner.  Orion scores the target image using a patent pending scoring technique.  Results can be printed and posted almost immediately.

Every shooter, no matter who they are, or where they competed is treated equally.  The days of scoring volunteers and disputed results are over.
